We’re The Future Fund – the new kid on the block with a bold vision and a heart full of purpose. Born from a simple idea and a deep love for South Africa, we’re here to shake things up and do giving differently. Founded in 2024, our mission is clear: to unlock the potential of under-resourced communities by investing in the one thing that changes everything – education.
We’re not backed by big corporations or flashy campaigns – we’re powered by people. Everyday South Africans living abroad, choosing hope over helplessness and action over apathy. Our team may be small, but our ambition is massive. With roots in Cape Town, we’re bringing a fresh, agile approach to nonprofit work — transparent, personal, and deeply human. We believe in creating genuine connections between givers and the communities they support. It’s not about pity. It’s about partnership. And while we may be new, we’re building something that will last – a movement grounded in optimism, driven by impact, and inspired by the belief that the future belongs to all of us.
