1. AGREEMENT BETWEEN USER AND THE FUTURE FUND
The Future Fund South Africa NPC (Registration Number: 2024/405200/08) (“The Future Fund”) is a registered non-profit company and pending recognised NPO (Application Number: APP-25/477251) operating under the laws of the Republic of South Africa. The Future Fund is also pending approval as a Public Benefit Organisation (PBO) and is currently not authorised to issue Section 18A tax-deductible receipts for qualifying donations.
The Future Fund (“the organisation”) maintains this website (“the Site”) for your information, engagement, and interaction with our charitable mission. By using the Site, making a donation, or accessing any services offered through the Site, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions (“the Terms”) and our Privacy Policy (together, “the Agreements”). Your continued use of the Site indicates your binding acceptance of the Agreements. The Future Fund reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time, and your continued use after such changes constitutes your agreement to the updated Terms.
2. RULES FOR ONLINE CONDUCT
You agree to use this Site only for lawful purposes, in accordance with the spirit and objectives of a registered South African non-profit entity. Users may not post or transmit content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, infringing of copyright or intellectual property, or otherwise objectionable. The Future Fund may moderate content or remove any submission at its sole discretion and reserves the right to block any user who misuses the Site or services.
3. PRIVACY
The Future Fund respects your right to privacy and takes data protection seriously. Personal information collected through this Site is handled in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA). Our Privacy Policy explains how your data is collected, used, and protected. By using this Site, you consent to such use in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
4. DONATIONS
The Future Fund is currently not a registered PBO and may not issue Section 18A certificates, however have submitted our application to the South African Reserve Bank (SARS). At any point in the future where we are able to issue these certificates, Donors must provide the required personal or business details for us to issue a valid certificate.
All donations are used at the discretion of the organisation to support its objectives as outlined in its Memorandum of Incorporation. Donations are non-refundable.
5. SUBMISSIONS AND COMMUNICATIONS
Any messages, comments, suggestions, or other submissions that you send to The Future Fund through the Site shall become the property of the organisation. By making such submissions, you grant us the right to use and disseminate them without restriction or obligation to provide credit or compensation. We are not obligated to respond to or acknowledge all communications.
6. ACCURACY AND CONTENT
While we aim to keep the information on the Site up-to-date and accurate, it is provided for general information purposes only. The Future Fund makes no representations or warranties regarding the completeness or reliability of any content, and users rely on it at their own risk.
